Michel Luescher is a solution architect in the worldwide Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure Center of Excellence (CoE) at Microsoft Corporation based out of Zurich, Switzerland. Primarily, Michel is focused on hybrid cloud solutions (Hyper-V, System Center and Microsoft Azure) and works with Microsoft’s enterprise customers and service providers. Michel joined Microsoft back in 2009 and is working very close with the different divisions, including the various product groups at Microsoft. He is a well-known virtualization specialist, presenting at different events and also publisher of books on cloud and virtualization. Internally at Microsoft Michel is considered being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for datacenter (kind of a vMVP).

Currently, Michel’s focus is to support the hybrid cloud business in Western (WE) and Eastern Europe (CEE) helping the field, both in Product and Services, by accelerating opportunities by adding his technical expertise. He’s also involved in delivery projects owned by the CoE like the Cloud OS Network (COSN). In his blog Server Talk he posts technical articles around the Microsoft Cloud Platform.

There is a huge focus sticking to Microsoft support statements and recommended practices. However, all these articles and posts are provided AS-IS without warranty. Even these posts are related to work, they are prepared and written during leisure time and not connected to Microsoft directly.
